Calendar overview

Updated June 18, 2026

The Calendar in Inspector Studio gives you and your team a visual view of all scheduled inspections. You can see who is working when, spot gaps or conflicts at a glance, and navigate directly to a booking from the calendar.

Opening the calendar

Click Calendar in the left navigation. The calendar opens in month view by default.

View options

Use the view controls at the top of the calendar to switch between:

  • Month — all days of the month, each booking shown as a compact event block.

  • Week — a 7-day view with time slots, good for seeing the day's density.

  • Day — a single day with hourly time slots, best for managing a busy schedule.

  • Agenda — a list view of upcoming bookings sorted chronologically.

Use whichever view matches how you like to think about your schedule.

What appears on the calendar

Every booking with a scheduled date and time appears on the calendar. Each event shows:

  • The inspection time and duration.

  • The property address.

  • The assigned inspector's name (in team views).

Click any event to open the booking directly.

Filtering by inspector

If your team has multiple inspectors, you can filter the calendar to show one inspector at a time or all inspectors simultaneously. Use the Inspector filter at the top of the calendar to select which inspectors to include.

Color coding by inspector helps you see at a glance who owns which job when multiple schedules are displayed at once.

Multi-day events

Bookings that span more than one day (rare, but possible for large commercial properties) display across the full date range on the calendar.

Booking status on the calendar

Events are color coded to reflect booking status — confirmed bookings appear in one color, unconfirmed in another, canceled bookings are typically hidden. This lets you see at a glance whether the day's jobs are locked in.

What the calendar does not show

The calendar shows scheduled inspection bookings. It does not show general time blocks or personal appointments unless those were entered as bookings. Inspector availability (the hours an inspector is available to be scheduled) is configured separately in availability settings.
