Managing your subscription
Your Inspector Studio subscription controls how many team members you can have, which features are available, and what you pay each month. Here is how to view and manage your subscription.
Where to find billing settings
Go to Settings → Billing or Settings → Subscription. This section is only accessible to the account owner and users with Admin access.
Your current plan
The billing page shows:
Your current plan name
What is included (team member limit, features)
Your billing cycle (monthly or annual)
Your next renewal date
Your current monthly or annual cost
Changing your plan
If you need to add more team members or access additional features, you can upgrade your plan.
Go to Settings → Billing.
Click Change Plan or Upgrade.
Review the available plans and what each includes.
Select the plan you want and confirm.
For upgrades, the change is effective immediately. The difference between your current plan's remaining value and the new plan's cost is prorated and charged or credited.
For downgrades, the change typically takes effect at the next billing cycle.
Billing cycle
Inspector Studio offers monthly and annual billing. Annual billing is typically offered at a discount compared to monthly. To switch between billing cycles:
Go to Settings → Billing.
Click Switch to Annual (or Switch to Monthly).
Confirm the change.
Switching to annual billing charges the annual amount immediately. Switching to monthly takes effect at the next renewal.
Payment method
To update the credit card on file for your subscription:
Go to Settings → Billing.
Click Update Payment Method.
Enter your new card details and save.
Inspector Studio uses Stripe to handle subscription billing. Your card details are stored securely by Stripe and are not visible to Inspector Studio.
Billing history and invoices
Your past subscription invoices are available in Settings → Billing → Invoice History. Click any invoice to view or download it as a PDF for your accounting records.
Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds), Inspector Studio will retry the charge automatically. You will receive an email notification to update your payment method. If payment is not resolved within a grace period, your account may be suspended — you will not lose your data, but access will be restricted until payment is updated.
