The agent portal

Updated June 18, 2026

The agent portal is a private area where real estate agents and other referral partners can view the inspections and reports associated with their clients. It gives agents the information they need without you having to forward reports or answer repetitive questions.

Who the agent portal is for

The agent portal is designed for real estate agents, property managers, or other professionals who:

  • Refer clients to you for inspections.

  • Need access to reports for transactions they are involved in.

  • Want to track the status of bookings for their clients.

Agents access the portal through the same login method as customers — a one-time code sent to their email.

What agents can see in the portal

An agent can see bookings and reports where they are listed as a contact with the Agent role. This means:

  • They see only the jobs they are involved in — not all of your inspections.

  • They can view published reports for those bookings.

  • They can see the booking status (scheduled, confirmed, completed).

They cannot see financial information, internal notes, or anything that is not directly relevant to the jobs they are associated with.

Adding an agent to a booking

  1. Open the booking.

  2. In the Contacts section, click Add Contact.

  3. Search for the agent's contact record or create a new one.

  4. Set their role to Agent (or the appropriate role for their involvement in the job).

  5. Save.

Once they are linked to the booking with the Agent role, they will be able to see that booking in the agent portal as soon as they log in.

Sharing the agent portal link

Share your agent portal URL with the agents you work with regularly. The URL is available in Settings → Organization → Portal and is a path under your organization's subdomain.

When a report is ready, your automated Conditionals can include the portal link in the notification so agents know where to go without having to ask you.

Agents vs. customer portal

The agent portal and customer portal use the same login system (one-time code) but show different data:

  • The customer portal shows data for contacts with a Buyer or Owner role.

  • The agent portal shows data for contacts with an Agent role.

A person can access both if they are listed on a booking in both roles.
