Fees
Fees let you add charges to a booking that are separate from your standard services and add-ons. They are useful for one-off items — a mileage charge, a same-day booking surcharge, a cancellation fee, or a credit card processing fee.
Adding a fee to a booking
Open the booking.
Scroll to the Fees section.
Click Add Fee.
Enter a description for the fee (this appears on the invoice so make it clear to the customer).
Enter the amount.
Click Save.
Fees are added to the booking's total and will appear as line items on the invoice.
Editing or removing a fee
To edit a fee, click the edit icon next to it in the Fees section. Update the description or amount and save.
To remove a fee, click the delete icon next to it and confirm. The booking total updates immediately.
Negative fees (credits)
You can enter a negative amount to create a credit or discount. For example, if you want to take $25 off a booking, add a fee with the description "Repeat customer discount" and an amount of -25.00. The negative amount reduces the booking total.
Fees vs. price overrides
The difference between a fee and a price override on a service:
A fee is a separate line item with its own label on the invoice. Use fees when you want the customer to see a named charge or credit.
A price override changes the service price directly. Use overrides when you simply want to charge more or less for a service without calling it out separately.
Fees on the invoice
All fees appear as individual line items on the invoice, below the services and add-ons. The customer sees the fee description and amount. Make sure your description is professional and clear — it is customer-facing.
